Ruby Beggly Memorial Fund
Back in 2018, the one-owner, 500-square-foot business known as Blackheart became a two-owner, 3000-square-foot thriving business. When that merger happened, the generational lineage of Blackheart became vast. Both sides of our family tree has been nurtured by both men and women who have dedicated their lives to uplifting others through the art of cosmetology.
Today, we must say goodbye to one of the pioneers that paved our way , Ruby Beggly.
Ruby, grandmother to Bobbie and owner of Hair 10, has been a Tri-Cities staple for the beauty industry for over 60 years. She has given a home to so many hairstylists, as well as invaluable advice at every turn for Blackheart.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to our local Kingsport Academy-Hair Design so that Ruby’s legacy not only lives through Blackheart but also through the next generation of stylists coming into the industry. Follow the link below if you would like to donate.
